What the FTB?

When will Farnham Town Brewery open?

We're aiming to get up and running Jan/Feb 2025. As soon as the beer starts flowing, we'll start spreading the word...

So make sure you sign up using the form above, and we'll let you know as soon as.

Can I come visit the brewery?

As much as we would love to have you visit, sadly not. Due to the tiny size and location, it's not currently possible to visit the brewery, I'm afraid.

How will I be able to buy you beers?

Our beers will be on taps in a few select pubs within Farnham Town.

Any left over stock will be available to purchase in cans.

Who is FTB?

FTB is Greg Strutton, after a culmination of years of home brewing in a garage and dreaming of "what if!?".

Life is short, so the "what if!?" turned into several months of paperwork, applications, exams, designing and planning and Farnham Town Brewery was born.

What Beers can I expect?

FTB is planning on splitting production into two categories:

1) Traditional
Farnham had a couple of breweries back in the day, and using details from Farnham Museum and also the National Archives in London, we can see what beers were produced and were popular. Oatmeal Stout, Table Beer, IPA, Mild and also bitter, among others.

All these will be brewed using hops produced from the Hamptons Estate, Putnam. Much like how it used to be.

2) Modern
These beers will include newer style hops or hop products, yeast strains, adjuncts etc.

Think, Hazy or Juicy Pales, Double IPAs, New England style, West Coast etc.
